About loopsprite
What this is
loopsprite is a small set of free, browser-based tools for making 2D game sprite animations. It has two tools: a frame extractor that pulls a clean looping animation out of a video (great for short AI-generated clips), and a sprite slicer that cuts a sprite sheet into frames, removes a solid background, and normalizes every frame to one size. Together they take you from raw footage or a packed sheet to game-ready animation frames.
Everything runs in your browser
Your video and images are never uploaded. Extracting, slicing, trimming, background removal, and exporting all happen locally on your device. There are no accounts and no signup.
